... be on time for your appointment.
Your time is important, and we will always respect that. If an emergency arises that will delay our arrival by even 15 minutes, we will notify you immediately. |
... answer your questions.
We schedule your appointments with plenty of time to address your concerns. You can also call or email with questions you remember as the vet is driving away. |
... be available for emergencies 24/7.
As cellular service can be spotty in some areas, if you do not receive a call back about an emergency within 15 minutes, please call again. |

This means recommending the best treatment and prevention options available while avoiding unnecessary tests or treatments. |
Meet Your Equine Veterinarian - Dr. Brandy Snedden
Brandy Snedden, DVM, CVA was born and raised in Newark, Ohio. She grew up riding with the Licking Valley Raiders 4-H Club and Hunters Run Pony Club, and graduated from Lakewood H.S.
She earned her B.S in Equine Science at Otterbein College. While there, Brandy competed in collegiate IHSA (hunter seat), IDA (dressage), Western, and Combined Training. In addition, she worked at the college barn and as an overnight foaling assistant at the local Standardbred breeding farm.
Brandy then followed her dream of becoming a veterinarian to The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Graduating in 2006, Brandy traveled with one horse, one dog and two cats to Maryland to work at an equine ambulatory practice.
She soon became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist, and married Steve, owner of aerial photography firm, Metro Air Photo. In 2010, Brandy and Steve decided it was time to move back to Ohio to put into practice all they had learned in Maryland.
Flying Horse Veterinary Practice was born as a natural evolution of the passion Brandy has for her patients' health and well-being.
